So I've just gotten over my own case of swine flu. The worst part was probably the fact that it was 80 degrees and humid out and I was running a temperature on top of that. It could've been worse, but I had the flu so everyone should feel bad for me anyway.

I still have a cough though. My asthma took my weakened state as an invitation to make me cough like a fifty year old smoker, which will probably last for the rest of the summer.

My family is getting into the swing of summer, which includes such follies as buying a go-kart and driving it around our nice green (for once) lawn. The go kart then promptly broke, which led to an hour of scouring the garage for a screw. It was like looking for the right foot to fit into Cinderella's glass slipper. It's still in pieces.

Another ¡super! fun thing we did was take the cover off of our heighth of white trash pool. Its all green right now. I don't want to swimming in it. Which is lucky because I've yet to purchase a bathing suit, and I'm too much of a lady (its not hot enough yet) to skinny dip.

Ahh summer.

I'm playing Final Fantasy VII right now (instead of studying for final exams). It was 9:30. I felt like such a criminal leaving school early (school hadn't technically let out because the next exam period was my study). I walked the entire way home, feeling the glaring eyes of everyone driving by me. They were thinking, "What is that stupid kid doing not in school? I am very angry for no reason." When I finally got to my street, all was silent. Then, I heard an engine behind me...

It was a cop car! I was expecting to get arrested for truancy. "I'm too young for jail!" I thought, "I'll get taken advantage of and my innocence stolen!" (Of course I did nothing wrong, but the first thing everyone thinks when they see a cop car is that they'll get sent to jail. Everyone, even Mother Theresa). Then the cop car rolled by me. I was relieved.

Does this mean that Ellen Degeneres is only 17% gay? And what about Clay Akin? He's not gay at all, he's -2.5% gay. Yes. Negative gayness!

Also, all those girls you see fawning over Edward and Jacob from Twilight? They're 100% gay. Trust me people. I have *Facebook Science* on my side.

And speaking of Twilight: Do you know this girl had the gall to say that the movie killed the series? First of all, RPattz is amazing. Second of all, if anything killed Twilight, it was the book. I told her this and she scoffed at me. I then heard an ominous noise. High pitched voices raised in excitement. I scurried off as a gang of Twilight fans approached, squealing a voice only Twilight fans can squeal in, "OMGZ guys! THE TRAILER FOR NEW MOON IS OUT!! TAKE MY VIRGINITY EDWARD!"

When the first girl, who hated the first movie and would stand no discussion on such a distasteful topic as the New Moon movie heard this, they interrupted into gang violence. But not the cool gang violence from West Side Story where they run around snapping their fingers and singing, it was the boring gang violence, where they squealed at each other in their squealy voices until I went deaf and can no longer pursue a career in the rockstar industry.

In conclusion: Twilight caused the world to be robbed of the next KISS.
People throwing garbage out their windows on the highway. For a few reasons:
1. If you're just walking and you have a piece of trash that you don't feel like carrying, I can see the logic of not wanting to carry it anymore and just dropping it. In a car, you can just set it aside and toss it when you arrive at wherever you're going. Its not like you have to hold it in your hands.
2. Its dangerous. The trash you through out your window on the road could land on someone else's windshield. Or, as you're digging around for that Big Mac package you dropped in the backseat, you're probably not paying attention to the road.
3. Its different from leaving the water running, or leaving the lights on, you're actively making it worse for everyone around you because you're too lazy to find a bin.
